Masar Alaqood Co. — Manpower Solutions respects your privacy and protects your personal data in line with Saudi Arabia's Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL) and its implementing regulations, overseen by the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA). This policy explains what we collect through masar-alaqood.com, why, how long we keep it, and your rights.

1. Who we are

The controller of your personal data is:

Masar Alaqood Co. — Manpower Solutions Commercial Registration: 7026895545 Address: Abu Bakr Al Siddiq Rd, Al Taawun, Riyadh 12475, Saudi Arabia Email: info@masar-alaqood.com Phone: +966 58 080 9777

2. What we collect

We collect the information you give us through the site's forms, plus limited usage data if you accept analytics cookies.

a. Quote requests and general enquiries Your name, company name, mobile number, email address, message, and service details such as the service, sector, number of workers, city or site, contract length and expected start date.

b. Job applications Your full name, nationality, mobile number, email address, city and current place of residence, field and desired role, years of experience, CV, and any message you include. Please leave out of your CV anything the job doesn't need, such as health information, beliefs, or ID and bank account numbers.

c. Newsletter The email address you subscribe with.

d. Usage data If you accept analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics 4 to collect statistics about how the site is used: pages visited, time on site, device and browser type, and approximate location. We don't use this data to identify you personally.

3. Why we use it

We use your data only to:

  • Answer your enquiries, prepare quotations and follow up on them.
  • Review job applications, match them with openings at Masar Alaqood or with our clients, and contact applicants.
  • Send the newsletter to subscribers.
  • Understand how the site is used and improve its content and performance.
  • Protect the site from misuse and meet our legal obligations.

We won't use your data for a purpose that is incompatible with these without telling you and, where the law requires it, asking for your consent.

4. Legal basis

We process your data on the basis of:

  • Your consent, when you submit a job application, subscribe to the newsletter or accept analytics cookies. You can withdraw consent at any time.
  • Your request, when you ask for a quote or send an enquiry, so that we can take the steps you've asked for before a contract, or perform one.
  • Legal obligations, where a law in force in the Kingdom requires us to keep or disclose certain data.

5. How long we keep it

We keep data only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected for:

Data Retention
Job applications and CVs 24 months from the date of application
Quote requests and enquiries 36 months from the last contact
Newsletter Until you unsubscribe
Google Analytics data Per the service's retention setting, up to 14 months

These are our current periods and we may change them by updating this policy. If an enquiry becomes a contract, or an application becomes employment, the data then follows the retention rules for that contract and the applicable regulations. When a retention period ends, we destroy the data or make it impossible to link to you.

6. Who we share it with

We do not sell or rent your personal data. We share it only with:

  • Service providers, such as our hosting provider, email services and Google Analytics, to the extent needed to run the site and deliver our services, under obligations that keep the data confidential.
  • Our business clients, when we put an applicant forward for a role with one of them. We share only the professional details relevant to that role, which is the purpose you applied for.
  • Authorities, where a law in force, a court order or a request from a competent government body requires it.

7. Transfers outside the Kingdom

Our hosting servers, and those of some service providers such as email services and Google Analytics, may be located outside Saudi Arabia. Where data is transferred, we do so under the conditions set by the PDPL and its regulation on transferring personal data outside the Kingdom, limited to what the purpose needs and with appropriate safeguards.

8. Security

We use appropriate organisational and technical measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss, alteration or disclosure. These include encrypted connections to the site, access limited to staff who need the data for their work, and storing CVs where they are not publicly accessible. No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, however. If an incident affects your data, we will take the steps the law requires, including notifying the competent authority and informing you where necessary.

9. Your rights

Under the PDPL you have the right to:

  • Be informed about what data we collect and why, as set out in this policy.
  • Access the personal data we hold about you and receive a copy.
  • Correct your data, or have it completed or updated.
  • Have your data destroyed once it is no longer needed, unless the law requires us to keep it.
  • Withdraw your consent at any time. This doesn't affect processing carried out before you withdrew it.

How to exercise them

Email info@masar-alaqood.com with "Privacy request" in the subject line and tell us which right you want to exercise. We may ask for information to confirm your identity first, and we will respond within the period the law sets. You can also unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link at the bottom of every email.

If you believe your data has been processed in breach of the law, you can complain to the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA). We'd appreciate the chance to put things right first, so please contact us.

10. Cookies

The site uses two kinds of cookies:

  • Essential cookies, which the site needs to work: remembering your language, protecting forms from automated submissions and keeping your session secure. These can't be switched off.
  • Analytics cookies, set by Google Analytics 4 to measure how the site is used. They are only switched on after you accept them in the cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time through the "Cookie settings" link in the footer, or by clearing cookies in your browser.

11. Minors

The site is intended for businesses and for job seekers of legal working age. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

12. Links to other sites

The site may link to other websites and platforms, such as our social media accounts. This policy doesn't cover them, so please read their own privacy policies.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services or in the law. We'll publish the updated version on this page with a new effective date, and make any significant change clearly visible on the site.
